I'm Asad Hayat

I’m an Arabic calligraphy artist based in Canada and I’m on a passionate journey of exploring & reviving the sacred art of Arabic calligraphy. Originally developed to preserve the handwritten Qur'an, Islamic calligraphy evolved to encompass a diverse array of objects, from manuscripts to buildings. Islamic calligraphy is indeed a spiritual art as it is a visual expression of Allah's remembrance, and has been used to beautify messages of God’s words in an elegant and sophisticated way.
