Salam, I'm Omar!
I've been teaching Arabic calligraphy for over a decade, and more than 10,000 students from all over the world have gone through my programs.
I started My Qalam Academy to give people what I wish I had when I was starting out — a clear, supportive, and inspiring path to learn this sacred art form, even without any prior experience.
I truly believe that everyone has an artist inside — and Arabic calligraphy is one of the most powerful ways to uncover that creativity.
Beyond the art, it’s a practice in patience, mindfulness, and beauty — one stroke at a time.
